Michael Adduci  teaches oboe and music theory at San José State University in San José, California.  He is a Doctoral candidate in oboe performance at the University of North Texas, where he studied with Charles Veazey.  He holds Bachelor’s degrees in biology and music from the University of Idaho, and a Master’s degree in oboe performance from the University of North Texas.  Michael is a member of the Santa Cruz County Symphony, and in addition he performs regularly with orchestras around the Bay area, including Symphony Silicon Valley, Opera San José, Ballet San José, the San José Chamber Orchestra, the Fremont Symphony Orchestra, the Santa Cruz Chamber Orchestra, and many others.  When he is not teaching or performing he is also the proprietor of Adduci Oboe Reeds, working with clients around the United States and Canada.
